Geez. Have you seen those commercials where they have a man talking about his daughter who had luekemia and was then cured by pharmaceutical companies? It's eery how well they know their consumers. I just recently started to be aware of the distain for them, then all of a sudden, they're like we'll tug at your heartstrings so you think we're good guys; play mind games. The prozac commercials make me wanna throw my TV through Eli Lilly's ferrari. They show this egg, who's a little "down in the dumps" awww poor egg. Give him some prozac! Look he's bouncing! BLECK GAG PUKE. They should show someone who hasn't slept, eaten or showered in days bawling saying they don't want to live, then introduce prozac, and show them completely numbed out, "I don't care" "I don't care" "whatever". I know that this med has helped many (as well as other meds). I'm sorry if I'm bashing it. The commercial just upsets me for some reason. It's like if it were only that easy. I'm 18, and for 3-4 years (and probably longer) I've been dealing with this BS, and have been trying different meds. I hate the way they trivialize it (because they probably just see the American public as faceless wallets) and THEN make BILLIONS of dollars from people suffering. Give me some of that money, I think I'd feel better. Okay, I'm done ranting and raving. Just felt the need to add my babble.
