For the last six months I have been suffering from some kind of sharp pain in my ribs. It started out feeling like I had torn a rib muscle, I remember doing it when I turned my torso to get something behind me. I have had this before and normally it goes away in 3 weeks or so, although it hurts like hell.
Well six months later I still have it, and X-rays and an MRI have failed to reveal any cause. The doctors shrug their shoulders and have no useful advice other than to suffer. Their last possibility is that it is a heart-related problem so I have a stress test scheduled, but I am skeptical that is what it is, since I remember tearing it.
What is interesting is that I was on Serzone for part of this year. It did not help my SP, and lowered my blood pressure and made me real tired, so I eventually got off it, but one very interesting thing is that, while I was on a high dose of Serzone, my rib pain stopped. It came back when I went off the Serzone. I find this very interesting, especially since my current meds (Klonopin and Wellbutrin) are not helping the pain at all. Interesting.
