It amazes me how many people have had trouble with weight gain on Effexor, for example. I have been on it for more than 5 years and I've lost weight, gained weight, lost it again, etc. All having to do with what I was, or wasn't, feeding my face with! LOL I guess it really IS individual, which is why it's so hard to say that Effexor will, or won't, cause another person any weight gain. It didn't have any effect on my weight at all. Hope that helps
