I find cocaine combined with alcohol always gives me that "extra" assertivness I sometimes need;)

Yes that's exctly what it sounds like but my advice is basically sound. Just turn cocaine into a more socially acceptable substance like Dexedrine, and alcohol into Klonopin (very disihibiting, I know, I take it). How much Xanax were you taking? I'm surprised it didn't work.BTW, are you taking Risperdal for psychosis? If so, major stimulants might not be such a good idea.
I do have a few questions though. If this job requires assertivness (that you lack), why do you want it so badly? Does this sound like the right job for you? It's really none of my business but I don't think things tend to be that simple. You're talking about being "far more" assertive. That's not a small detail, it's a big change. I can only speak for myself but I can say this: Klonopin makes me a little more assertive. Assertive enough that I can post and not just lurk. That's a small change. Big changes tend to involve big drugs with nasty downsides (coke, for instance). Anyway, you're the one who knows what you're capable of. I'd go with a higher dose of Xanax or Klonopin. Stimulants don't really go with Risperdal although some people here would disagree.
>After the initial group interaction test, the tester decided that I can go on with on-the-job training, in case I will prove to be far more assertive (he DID like my other personality traits: knowing how to listen and giving respect and empathy to others). I suffer from Borderline personality disorder. I am now taking Ixel (Effexor-like drug), Risperdal and Depakote. The question is: is there anything I can add to the cocktail to make me more assertive ? Xanax didn't make much difference.
