Topamax for migraine

Posted by MaryLou on July 14, 2001, at 15:39:52

I am currently taking depakote and lithium for bipolar 2 disorder, but the depakote has been working to suppress some of my migraine pain. My doctor and I have been talking about replacing depakote with topamax because of the typical weight issue, but I'm wondering if there's any indication that topamax works for migraine. Any luck with it?
