Clinical trials

Posted by Willow on July 10, 2001, at 22:11:10

"The drug (nefazodone,) did not produce such problems during clinical trials before it went on the market. Of the estimated 650,000 patients treated with the drug in Canada there have been four reported cases of liver failure, two of which required transplants. Health Canada said it had no reports of deaths, although some have been recorded in other countries."

Anyone with an opinion on this?
