Memantine and Aniracetam

Posted by Jean Paul on June 30, 2001, at 21:45:43

I was taking memantine along with selegiline and pemoline for increased alertness and motivation, but recently could buy some aniracetam pills. Memantineīs mechanism of action seems to be non-compatible with aniracetam (due to the latterīs action as an agonist of certain NMDA receptors). Would like to know your experience or technical info: may I discontinue the memantine? (This substances are strange enough to be unknown for argentinian doctors.) Thanks in advance.
