I've tried SSRI's, effexor & serzone. After the initial breakin, the sideeffects of the wellbutrin-induced anxiety went away.
For me, the wellbutrin puts me in control. I still battle with the irritability and anxiety and have to use ativan daily. I'm not at a perfect chemical level, but I'm at the best level so far.
The wellbutrin is helping me "stay the course" in what's been an exhausting mental healing journey. At times I even feel relatively normal! (grin) So that's why I take it. I use ambien at bedtime when necessary and also recommend trazadone as well.
