I have found that flax seeds are great for constipation- better than metamucil or even senakote type laxatives.You can buy them in bulk from a natural food store and grind them up in a coffee grinder. Three teaspoons in the morning mixed with cereal or juice, or whatever does the trick for me. Tastes good too!
