Ditching Effexor ... the last 75mg!!!

Hi All :-|

I'm down to the last 75mg of Effexor (from 300mg XR). Each time I try and halve or quarter the 75mg dose, I end up with the usual 'discontinuation syndrome' symptoms that have been posted many times. I didn't realise how hard it is to get off this stuff!? Any tricks for me? I'm using clonazepam (Rivotril) and Inderal (propranolol) to control some of the symptoms. Other than that I feel stumped. Is "cold turkey" the only option?!
