Sal, don't worry I've delt with the suicide ideation for several years now, I'm just talking about the mental pain that drives the desire to do so. I think at the beginning of this year was the closest I've ever came though. Then I started on Neurontin which helped for a while. Now I'm on Geodon which seems to be helping some. I've been on it for about 9 days.
One of the reasons that I was interested in the article that I posted is that I'm thinking of having the test to see if I show resistance to dexamethasone suppression. If so I would like a trial of aminoglutethimide if I can talk a Dr. into it. (see the thread: Antiglucocorticoids in depression (abstracts)
