I'm hoping I can eeeeease off Zyprexa and sneak some Geodon in there. Can't stand the weight gain and glucose intolerance of Zyprexa one more day, tho it's been the frosting on the cognitive cake, am working on my novel again after years. Am on Neurontin, also a godsend, Dexedrine -- hello, brain! -- and Effexor, necessary foundation but not remotely enough alone, plus 2 Valium at bed. Yes, Neurontin can be all taken at bed and work all the next day. Yes, Valium *vast* improvement over newer benzos, for sleep and cognition next day. Yes, I had a whopping bomb out the day I stopped Xyprexa and started Geodon, overnite. . .my dear doc goofed that one. He's allowed. Blamed it on the Geodon, have fingers crossed I can either ease onto it, or get by again with just Valium to calm the dopamine flood to the limbic system. Jack *up* the dopamine to the frontal lobes, turn *down* the dopamine to the limbic brain. Hey, I've been at this twenty years, and the cleaner the meds get, the better I get. My life didn't begin til Wellbutrin was released [developed a skin allergy after 3 great years.] Diagnoses: depression, Chronic Fatigue Illness, pesticide exposure, TLE. . .I regard these drugs as supplements, somewhat primitive ones that therefore have to be used both wisely and intutively. We're breaking new ground. . .
