In reply to Celexa withdrawl/switch to wellbutrin, posted by Lolita on June 3, 2001, at 22:58:04
It will take time for the Wellbutrin to kick in. Also, when one stop's a drug such as Celexa, there are withdrawal symptoms for a few weeks which are unpleasant. When you say things went wrong in february, what do you mean? Did the Celexa stop working? Lots of people take drugs such as Celexa in combination with Wellbutrin.
> I was on 40 mg of celexa a day for 2 years. everything went horribly wrong in febuary, and I recently decided to switch to wellbitrin, dosing down of of the celexa slowly. things have been horrible! I began taking the wellbutrin yesterday. I feel awful! dizzy, sick, headache, insomnia, confusion, ears are ringing, sad, depressed , lonely, at one point this weekend i became hysterical over nothing and walked myself over to the hospital to get calmed down. I can't get my brain around the silliest things. time seems to be moving differnently now. I will see my therapist tomorrow, but right now, does anyone have ANY suggestions???
