my pdoc gave me the same speech a while back, concerned about my sleeping patterns. he put me on ambien 10mg for 2 weeks. it totally did the trick. i still, from time to time, need to take ambien for a few days to kick my sleep cycle back into deep sleep (all that anxiety can prevent me from getting into deep restful sleep.... can live on that for only so long before chewing somebody out, you know.)maybe that would work for you? just a thought.
oh, i take wellbutrin 4 times a day because i'm not on the sustained release version. i find it gives me energy during the day, but that last one that i take at bedtime actually helps me get sleepy. go figure! the immediate release is what i needed to do (i was churning up the S.R. in 5 hours and left feeling like i had no drugs in me, it was AWFUL.... )
take care, terra
