I say that Olanzapine can be used for a wide spectrum of disorders, and possibly yours-- regardless of whether you are bipolar or not.
Olanzapine's actions on the 5HTP2A receptor creates antidepressant efficacy, increased REM sleep, and anti-anxiety efficacy. Then, Olanzapine's actions on the 5HTP2C receptor produces anti-anxiety efficacy, increased appetite, and decreased motor restlessness. I have also heard from the Tips of reports saying that olanzapine is good for handling anger episodes. So, what we're dealing with is a highly versatile drug with a highly minimal chance of permanent side-effects. I take 5 mg at bedtime and have no weight gain or sedation.
