Vicodin/Celexa-Remeron cocktail

Posted by Daveman on May 18, 2001, at 22:22:38

Hi All:

As I've posted before, I'm on a 40 mg. Celexa/15 mg. Remeron cocktail. This week I came down with an abcessed tooth (ouch!!!!) and was given Amoxicillin as an antibiotic and Vicodin for the pain. The Vicodin is very effective for the pain, but EXTREMELY sedating. Is there a possible conflict here? (The Amoxicillin is starting to work, so I may not be taking much more vicodin, but was curious anyway- I'm facing root canal when the inflammation goes down, fun fun fun!)

Dave
