Hi Gumby,
would you like to contact people at Centre for addiction and mental health (formerly Clarke Institute of psychiatry), here in Toronto (416-535-8501, or 416-979-2221). My prof at UofT, Neil A.Rector is head of Anxiety disorders clinic there (416-535-8501, x4820). He is the person to see or at least to ask for referral for specialist in your area. They not only treat but train in the latest and the most effective methods of treatment of panic disorder and of anxiety disorders. PCT (panic control treatment) is the latest in the panic disorder treatments, after one week of daily treatments you'll be panic free for life. Anxiety is more insidious and chronic condition, but you have all chances to reduce it from severe to moderate, from moderate to mild, or from mild to none with appropriate psychological and psychosocial treatments they offer.
may our Canadian flags stand upright forever :)
