I have suffered since childhood from depression, anxiety, social phobia, agoraphobia, memory and concentration problems. I am 46 years old and have been seeing psychiatrists since I was 17. I have tried all the meds, psychotherapy, behavioral therapy and, unfortunately, ECT.

Hi Valjean. That is an interesting idea.
The level of growth hormone (GH) is often reduced in people with depression. In addition, the response to GH-releasing drug challenges tends to be blunted. My feeling is that these things are the result of the biology of depression rather than the cause of it.
I'm going to keep your report in mind. Thanks.
