Diagnoses?? why can't i get one????

I know this is a weird question but i've been on meds and in therapy for almost 10 years now and have never been "diagnosed" with anything specific.
Is this a canadian psychiatrist thing or is it just the docs I've seen?? i've been to 4 therapists and 1 social worker and none of them have ever given me a diagnosis.
I take meds yes but i don't have a name for my particular problems. why is that? Is it possible that I have no problem and they are just humouring me by giving me meds and therapy?
i've always wondered about this.
Also, i have bad anger episodes lately. Not frequent but severe. Doc gave me buspar for them. do you think that's the right thing??
