Cece,I'm sorry to hear that you had such a negative reaction to Geodon. I guess it isn't the wonder drug I hoped it would be. Which of the other antipsychotics are you considering next? You might want to go back to Zyprexa 5.0mg and wait to see if you really do gain weight on it. From what I see written on Psycho-Babble, it is not a 100% certainty. I was on 5.0mg for a few weeks and didn't see a trend towards weight-gain. Although I did experience a mild increase in appetite, I was able help offset that by making some changes in my eating habits. You won't know unless you try it.
Did Neurontin help at all? It sometimes soothes anxiety.
