> I don't know about euphoria, but Effexor could cause a switch to mania (many antidepressants do this) for those who have bipolar tendencies. I hope you aren't experiencing mania.
Hello there-I'll try keep this brief.
For 3-7 days I have SEVERE depression,suicidal thoughts,fatigue,hopelessness,extreme negative thought intrusions.Anger irritability[only outside]
3-7 days I experience euphoria,daydreamy especially sexual obsessions,spiritual thoughts.Irritability[only outside]
I may get 1-2 normal days.
Take 75mg effexor which I find very sedating and get no urge for alcohol.I suppose if I do suffer mania effexor suppresses annoying behaviour.
Also take 8mg reboxetine for lethargy caused by effexor.
Also have social phobia[dont go out]I guess I'm a mess but at the moment I feel great.
Never had mood stabiliser my med consultant said it would impair my creativity[I paint]but thinking about it now I'm not very productive.
Can you help?
God bless.
