Hi. My doctor told me that Remeron only works well for sleep at low doses and loses its effectiveness at higher doses. I had problems staying asleep and he said to try 15 mg of Remeron and if that didn't work, to *decrease* it to 7.5. When that didn't work, he added Trazadone, 50 mg. The combo works well for me.
