I also couldn't decide if it was the Effexor XR or menopause. It's definitely the meds. I've been taking Effexor for over 3 years and I always dread summer because the sweating becomes unbearable. I've also put on over 40 lbs. I plan on weaning off so that I can stop sweating and get back to a decent weight.
