> Hi,
I don't know if you two are still checking this site for answers to zeldox. They decided to change the name to GEODON (ziprasidone hydrochloride). I've been on it for about 2 weeks and it really seems to be helping. My thinking is much less clouded and it does not cause the weight gain that Zyprexa did for me. I've also been on Risperdal too for a time and it made me feel like a zombie. It was way too sedating. But Geodon is like Zyprexa in that it does not sedate you as much and like i said no weight gain. I got samples from my psychiatrist, so you should ask yours if you can get it. I called Pfizer and they said that it was coming out this month (April). So I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The only problem is the elongated qt interval (the time it takes your heart to repolarize and beat again), but this only a problem for people who already have a heart condition. I don't know what your diagnosis is, sounds like chronic depression. Mine is major depression, recurrent with psychotic features. I hope that this information helps. Good luck!
