He is on alot of meds (for siezures, depression, impulsiveness, etc) and they want to eventually get him off everything but the anti-siezure meds...He tried alot of anti-depressants and has been on Effexor for quite a while now. He is on Efexor(depression); clonazepam (anxiety); dilantin, neurontin, ativan (siezures) and zyprexa (anxiety, impulsiveness, sleep, depression, etc). I didn't think people just stayed on these things forever.
