Combining desipramine with stimulants and thyroid?

I take desipramine and thyroid hormone, and although they are not effective enough against my depression, they are better than the dozen other meds I've tried over the past 10 years. I have considered adding a stimulant to boost their effectiveness and help me with my awful daytime fatigue. Is this a safe combination?
