Hi Cole.

I would like to offer one possibility that has nothing to do with an adverse reaction to Serzone. I do not favor one explanation over another.

Perhaps your boyfriend has also been suffering from a moderate depression. Depression can cause people to feel inhibited and uncomfortable in social situations. There is often a lack of assertiveness and a loss of self-confidence and self-esteem. If Serzone has all of a sudden removed the inhibitory restraints of an unrecognized chronic depression, he might need some time to learn how to manage this rush of new feelings of assertiveness that seem to have come out of nowhere. I have seen this happen to me.
