I'm on Neurontin and Selegiline as my AD. The Neurontin does provide "mood" support at high enough doses--for me this is just 900 mg a day. The Selegiline helps with cognitive functions, sexual functions (which I believe the Neurontin damps down), and motivation--in short it's a puppy uppper or activating drug. I think it takes a pretty sophisticated and confident pdoc to prescribe Selegiline tho. Its an MAO B inhibitor at low doses--so no dietary restrictions.
