Has anyone had success with Neurontin and Topamax?

Posted by Kingfish on March 16, 2001, at 9:53:50

Hello again! I'm back with a new combo that "seems" to be working (I feel like I say that every time). I'm diagnosed BPII and am taking:

Celexa 40 mg
Topamax 200 mg
Neurontin 2400 mg (600 mg, 4 x a day)

The Topamax was too sedating before, but since I added the Neurontin, it's been O.K. I know this makes no sense as Neurontin is supposed to be sedating too.

For the first time, except for my brief stint on the Topamax at 200 mg before, I feel stable and fairly "good".

Has anyone had this experience with a similar combo?

Thanks!

- K.
