Hi, Roo. I took Selegiline 60 mg. That's an unusually high dose, of course. I was trying to see if it would mimic or be better than Parnate, as Selegiline loses is MAO-B selectivity somewhere above 15 mg/day. The sexual benefit I experienced was somewhere in the two to three week range, I believe, and the benefit seem to increase for about another two weeks. I understand that the benefit is related to the MAO-B inhibition, which is maxed out around 15 mg/day. The MAO-B inhibition, and resultant dopamine effect is what provides such a powerful sexual effect. Psychopharmacologists classify sexual function according to three areas: arousal, erectile/libido, and orgasm. Selegiline helped with all three. I found it to be very, very stimulating. As you can tell, I miss it.
