rogdog,

I have severe treatment resistent depression. I am interested in anything that you find on this subject. I have gone years without a positive thought. Occasionally at night I might feel okay, but there is something in me that prevents me from ever feeling good. I recall several years ago I took a pain killer (percidan) for wisdom teeth removal and I had nice euphoria with the medicine. I am extremely obsessive with my thinking. Same thought will be with me all day long. Curious if the ultram really helped this. Even more curious if there are long term studies with this type of medicine. I must have a very messed up opiate system. I come from a family history of depression and alcoholism. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Best to you.
