Klonopin

Posted by PaulB on March 11, 2001, at 9:43:51

I am just about to start on Klonopin for social anxiety. This may or may not be a good idea. Ive been on Paxil which really helped for about six months but then was just like taking a sugar-pil. My psychopharmacologist suggested Gabapentin or Klonopin. I had a better feeling about the latter drug despite the fact that it is a benzodiazepine. It would be encouraging to here from people who do well on this drug and do not find that they build up a tolerance to it. I know that this is possible but I assume that the Klonopin may well continue to work but surely not as effectively in the long-term as it did initially. Correct me if Im wrong?
