Thank you
I have found that my depression has lessened a lot but I cannot tell any difference in the obsessive/intrusive thoughts. It is tuff. Thanks for your support.
> I was on Paxil also for several months; it worked but I was always hungry. I came off it and my anxiety and depression eventually returned. Paxil did work well the 2nd time I tried it. I am now on 40 mg of Prozac up from 20 mg, up from 10 mg, and it works very well. Give it a little time. Buspar usually makes Prozac work a lot better for those with generalized anxiety disorder. I would give it a little more time. I do take a little Xanax before bedtime, but the Prozac is wonderful for me now, and I even lost a few pounds. I'm not hungry on it. You might need to take a little ativan or xanax when needed for a week or two till you are totally used to the 40 mg. Prozac works best usually 2 or 3 months after starting. I am on almost two months and the 40 mg has worked wonders. Give it a little time. The Paxil may not work again for you, and the weight gain is tough. Good luck.
