Karen - in my previous post I forgot to mention, because it happened so long ago - that the tightness in my chest began and was at it's worst when I was hyperthyroid. I'm pretty sure your doc would have checked this out and in most cases the symtoms are fairly obvious - but thought I'd mention it anyways.
