Serzone at about day 12 or 13 started agitating me badly. I had crying jags all the time. I gradually went from 100 mg a day all the way up to 500 mg a day at 4 weeks. I had severe insomnia; it was not sedating for me. Everybody has different body chemistry. I am on Prozac and it does not agitate me; I had to go to 40 mg from 20 mg after a month but it works for me.
Remeron is sedating for most people, but it causes a lot of weight gain for many. Did you ever try adding Buspar to your SSRI? This works for some people too. It's all trial and error I guess. I hope you find the right med[s] for you.
