I'm interested in what other people have found on natural remedies. I have tried a lot of them to no avail. I am also curious what other physical ailments we should have checked out as a matter of course that include depression as a symtom. Obviously, thyroid. What else? Food allergies? Krebs cycle? The fatique elements of depression led me to the Beatcfsandmfs.com site which contains a methodological step-by-step series of tests to put yourself through to identify the underlying cause of the syndrome. The point made is that Chronic Fatigue is a syndrome and most doctors won't go through the step-by-step process of elimination to identify the root cause. Is it possible that depression is a syndrome also and might be approached in such a fashion?
Here are the tests listed on the Beatcfs site. Are any of them useful to depressed people to root out underlying causes of the depression?
