Sorry Matt, but I'm with Nikki. Effexor worked for me when nothing else would. Yes, it pooped out, but it worked for almost 2 yrs. If I thought it would work for that long again, I'd go back on it despite the side effects and the withdrawls.

The key to getting off is to take it VERY slowly. Cold turkey is nuts. 2 weeks is even too fast. I went down from 300 mg/day by cutting 75mg a day per week for 4 weeks, and that was barely tolerable.
