I feel pretty good on Prozac but am interviewing for jobs this week and possibly the next few weeks. I see my psych in 2 weeks. I was thinking of trying 30 mg of Prozac to how it works; would I feel better or worse?

I would probably agree with sticking with 20 mg until you see your doctor again. You may not yet have experienced the full effects of the drug and may have more improvement on 20 mg. after taking it a few more weeks. You can always add later if you feel that you are "improved" but not "better". I'm not sure if adding more now would make a difference in time for you to notice it in the next week or two.

FWIW, I took 20 mg for a few months then switched to 40 mg hoping for further improvement. I really didn't notice any difference in efficacy, but did have more side effects...ick.

PS - Prozac comes in 10, 20, and 40 mg capsules and in a liquid form (helpful for doses smaller than 10 mg).
