Bob, I don't feel that I am the best qualified to answer your questions. There are several people who have a much better handle on this stuff than do I.

I should really learn more of the specific details myself. I know some, but not enough. Perhaps we should start a thread regarding contraindicated substances when taking a MAOI. In the meantime, stay away from dental anesthetics that contain epinephrine (there are preparations without it), preparations containing dextromethorphan, and Demerol.
