> Hey, Phillybob - I haven't heard from you since you went on vacation a while ago. Also what's happening with the drug holiday you were trying? Or are you posting under a different moniker?

> Just wondering - CamHi, Cam! I'm still out here! Wow! I was just manually searching along (can't get search feature to work) and even have an email "waiting to be sent" to you to give you an update! But, lo and behold, here is a calling out of my name!
How are you?!
My drug holiday was nice! My vacation was excellent (as were the ones I've taken since :). My drug holiday was, in fact, as I see, in hindsight ... dun, dun, duh ... hypomania (or just about!) :) And, since that time, I've played with some more meds (mostly SSRIs sprinkled with some Ritalin here and there) and have had my usual ups and downs.
At the time I had made my appearance here on the board last spring, I had been "washing out" in preparation for embarking upon a trial with an MAOI for my treatment-resistant depression, but, then ... I felt ... all better ... so I went on my drug holiday and posted a response "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" to dear DJ.
Is it all coming back? Hi to Noa, too!
Anyway, I've since self-diagnosed myself with BP II or III or something along the lines of mood instability and am trialing topiramate (Topamax)alone (currently, up to 125 mg at bedtime and feeling a bit more even, or less downtrodden, at least). I am contemplating, either adding a tad of Lamictal or some Effexor for a bit of AD effect but I think I'm gonna wait it out a few weeks as I build up the topiramate and see what happens.
I know from manually searching, Lexie seemed to be doing well with a Topamax/Lamictal combo. Do you think it'd be appropriate to start a new Topamax thread or should I wait 'til the search is active again or could you email me with your insight?
Hi, hi, hi! :)~
P.S. Sorry for the longwinded moniker, I must re-register phillybob, as I guess the registration process has changed since and I did this one the other nite (it's from a song title that I find apropos for many of us)
