PhoenixGirl:
Thanks for your help and advice. Nice to know someone else is out there right now! Learning a lot on this site. Communication helping me get through the tremors today. Live in really small town...not many competent doctors...but will give it a shot!
Already been off meds for 5 days...Have to get rid of Effexor XR anyway...going on Guaifenesin as soon as I can. Definitely wish I knew then what I know now about quiting Effexor too quickly... Wish I had some help for your questions!

How about going to a publicly-funded clinic for the meds? I've had to do that. They're often called "community mental health" centers. Don't go off meds cold turkey.

I was taking the medication for chronic depression and fibromyalgia. Has anyone else been through this? How long does this nasty stuff last? Today is the first day in a week I have been able to have somewhat clear thoughts and minimal dizziness. Body tremors, sweats, nausea, icy hands and feet, extreme fatigue still very previliant. Any suggestions?
