I have been working out religiously for the past year, and I watch ever morsel of food I put in my mouth... all to ward off the depression. I truly believe the Effexor has caused the weight gain... but the doctor tested by thyroid instead. Anyone else out there putting on weight "for no reason"?

In those periods I have gained more than 30 lbs. But I have been enlightened as to "Carbohydrate-Craving"- what causes it and how to beat it! I strongly recommend the book "What your doctor may not tell you about Fibromyalgia" by R. Paul St. Amand, M.D., and Claudia Craig Marek...Even if you aren't a FMS, Depression patient...this book really makes sense...and I have witnessed some unbelievable results! Haven
