Me too. It made me suicidal. I am not generally suicidal, regardless of the depth of my depression. In addition to worsening my depression, reboxetine produced in me significant anxiety. Anxiety and aggression are perhaps the two most important features associated with successful suicides.
I know I keep saying this from time to time, but there is a biology of suicidality - a neurochemical substrate that alters one's mental state to not only experience thoughts that are catastrophic in nature, but to actually *feel* suicidal, regardless of cognitive content. Drugs can make perfectly healthy people become suicidal who never had a suicidal thought in their whole life.
IMHO.
Cole, your system probably would react kindly to the addition of predominately dopaminergic (DA) drugs, including those which block 5-HT2a receptors. Wellbutrin does not fit into any of these categories.
5-HT2a = Remeron, Serzone, and Desyrel.DA = Amisulpride, Mirapex, Parlodel
DA + 5-HT2a = Risperdal, Zyprexa, Seroquel, and Zeldox (hopefully to be soon released for market)
Dexedrine, Adderal, Ritalin, and Cylert might be partially effective augmentors.
Try the lithium first. :-)
