Hi, anyone know anything about tis? sounds too good to be true...
http://www.naturalhealthconsult.com/Monographs/camucamu.htmlWHAT IS IT?
Royal Camu is Camu-Camu (Myrciaria dubia,) an herb from the Amazon rainforest. Each two capsules contains Camu-Camu 800 mg and Vitamin C 78.4 mg.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Camu-Camu is a fruit that has anti-viral, anti-migraine and anti-depressant properties. It is also nutritious. It contains 30 to 60 times more Vitamin C than an orange plus other vitamins, minerals amino acids and bioflavanoids.
Although no clinical studies have been performed on Camu-Camu, many alternative therapists have been able to wean their patients from prescription anti-depressants with this herb. Noted author Gary Null, PhD., believes it to be among the strongest anti-depressants available. Dr. Viana Muller agrees saying:
"...it has phytochemicals which clinically have been shown to change mood within a few hours. It can help lift depression and greatly reduce anxiety even the same day it is started. Only a tiny amount is needed--two capsules taken with water on an empty stomach twice daily or 1/4 tsp. taken in water twice daily."
She adds that it is both quicker and safer than St. John's Wort.
