OK, I'm 27 & a couple of weeks ago developed a 'floater'. This is a small collection of cells that form in the gel part of the eye & cast shadows on the retina. As someone in an earlier discussion put it, they look like microbes in a petri dish.
Here's my question - besides the aging process, the smoking of marijuana cause floaters? I understand the the CMV virus can also cause it, but if that was the case, wouldn't I have antibodies to fight it?
I now understand that unless I want a dangerous surgery, I have to learn to live with this floater. Any other thoughts on this?
Please help...
