I just wanted to comment that Effexor XR, other than the weight gain, is great WHILE YOU ARE ON IT. However it is when you decide you no longer need it that the problems arise - today is day 3 of being off the meds and still have vertigo, dizziness, brain "freezes", etc.
So if you plan to go on Effexor XR, just be aware of the consequences of withdrawal, that's all.
