Thank you all so much for your help. I've said it before, but this board has been a life saver for me.
I feel so much better knowing there is a drug available to help with cravings. I actually asked my psych about it and he was open to it. I'm going to wait and see how I feel on this current combo.
The idea that I might not have to spend so much time and heartache avoiding alcohol gives me great hope.
The concept that we drink out of habit is an interestin point to me. I always drink on the weekend "out of habit". I will try to break that.
Thank your for your honesty Gracie. Though I've never had such a traumatic experience, I've definitely worn myself down with my self-destructive behavior.
