Well being in graduate school to be a therapist helped me figure this one out. Ever since I was diagnosed bipolar it has been a regiment of Depakote,an anti-depressant, and an anti-psychotic. Well the whole reason I went into the hospital the first time was due to memories of severe abuse and here came the Thorazine. I finally got on Zyprexa which freed up enough brain space to go back to school. So I finnaly figured out I have PTSD and I was not psychotic. No voices, no delusions, just stressed as hell when these memories come back. I had my doctor prescribe Klonopin and all of a sudden I don't need the Zyprexa. Now I can actually feel things now. I will always need the Depakote because I know I am bipolar but I am not psychotic. Remember folks sometimes you have to do the doctors work for them.
