More advice please? (esp. dilantin) Thanks!

Friends-
First of all, if I read my post I would say, "For God's sake go the doctor already!!" Well I'm going, but right now I'm still in medical limbo from switching HMOs. (Have picked new primary doc, waiting for authorization, need referral for new pdoc, etc.)
What a hassle.

I've tapered off paxil with no ill effects. Now I'm tapering off depakote and seroquel (which I'm almost out of anyway) because I'm unhappy with the side effects. Also, I would like to start clean with the amisulpride/adrafinil routine and with my new pdoc. I am still taking dilantin prescribed by a neurologist, although I've been taking less than I'm supposed to.

However, since tapering from these drugs, I have all the memory and concentration of a crack baby.
I often have to ask people to repeat their remarks. I'll walk upstairs to get something and forget what I'm looking for. I can't remember names or a common word I'm trying to think of.

Is this a typical withdrawal symptom of depakote, seroquel, dilantin or even paxil? Incidentally, I took depakote for BP and not seizures. I was prescribed the dilantin for a drug-induced seizure; I have no history.
Could the dilantin be an adequate substitute for BP until I can consult a pdoc? Mostly I'm concerned about the memory loss and confusion.

Thanks again-
Gracie
