___________________________Wellbutrin is metabolized into an active metabolite, which is not only a more powerful NE reuptake blocker than Wellbutrin itself, but is also concentrated in the brain. Wellbutrin's hydroxylated active metabolite is the actual mediator of AD activity via NE and Dopamine reuptake blockade. --JB
